Highboard No. 220, a fusion of wood, textile and timeless craftsmanship. A harmonious union, incorporating the essence of quality and tradition at its core.   One of the standout features of the highboard is its distinctive tambour (roller shutter) door, which seamlessly merges functionality with elegance. The vertical shape of the highboard makes it an ideal choice for spaces with limited room. Additionally, the door’s fabric can be easily replaced, allowing for different expressions to match evolving tastes.   What sets the highboard apart is the fabric sourced from Liberty of London, renowned for their captivating textiles. Liberty’s patterns bring an artistic touch and sophistication to this exceptional furniture piece. The combination of wood and textile in the highboard represents a seamless fusion of craftsmanship and design.   Every piece is made in Denmark and individually numbered on final assembly.   Bernh. Pedersen & Søn, a Danish furniture maker, has a long and strong tradition in furniture and cabinetmaking stretching all the way back to the company’s start in 1902. Through three generations the family firm has created and sold classic Danish furniture to many parts of the world. The period 1950 - 1970 in particular was characterized by some of the most stunning and well-executed pieces in Bernh. Pedersen & Søn’s history. Especially the classic mid-century sideboards and daybeds designed by Danish furniture designers, including the Danish world-renowned Johannes Andersen, Svend Aage Madsen and Kurt Østervig who were - and still are - highly valued by customers worldwide.   In 2015, great-grandson Thomas Bernhard Pedersen reestablished the company and started focusing exclusively on relaunching some of the exquisite furniture designed in the 50’s and 60’s.
