Sectional mid century sofas are increasingly sought after because they work well in open-plan rooms where a single piece anchors multiple seating zones. The terms overlap but have distinct typical sizes. A sofa is the full-length seating piece, typically 72 to 90 inches wide for three or more people. A loveseat is a compact two-seat version, typically 54 to 66 inches wide. A settee is traditionally a narrower two-seat piece with higher back and often exposed wood framing, common in Edward Wormley for Dunbar and early Paul McCobb production. Yes. For pieces tagged “Restoration Available”, both restoration and reupholstery are available as separate cart options. Restoration covers cushion refilling with new foam and down, webbing or spring replacement, leather conditioning, and wood frame refinishing. Reupholstery is offered with several hundred fabrics to choose from. Some pieces are sold Vintage As-Is. Restoration is entirely optional, and we recommend preserving original upholstery on collector-grade pieces where documented.
